Alfaidro Pipes and Fittings are intended for hot and cold water supply. It has a moderate weight, resistance to corrosion and chemicals, low pressure loss, absence of incrustation, good environmental capability and preservation of organoleptic properties of the conveyed liquids.
Alfaidro systems are manufactured using Hostalen PPH5416, a random polypropylene with high molecular weight and sigma 80 that replaced the previous sigma 50. The sigma value represents the allowable stress, in kgf/sq centimeters. This allows the Alfaidro to be manufactured with the same thickness but grants them a higher performance.
Main Applications:
- Hot & cold water supply in Civil & Public Building
- Industrial System for the supply of calcareous water, oils, high corrosive liquids & food liquids.
- Means of Transport (ships, planes, caravans, etc.)
Technical Specifications:
- Maximum Working Pressure – 290psi or 20 bar (14.5)
- Maximum Temperature – 95° C

Step
Remove any dust or dirt on the pipe. Cut the pipe perpendicularly to its axis.

Step
Mark the inserting depth on the pipe. Using a soft tip marker or pen.

Step
Fix the proper matrix of the pipe and fitting on the welding tool. Hold steadily throughout the heating time. The optimum temperature is 260±10o C.

Step
After heating, extract the pipe and fitting from the matrix and joint the pipe gradually to the fitting. Avoid rotating them, respecting the insertion depth.

Step
Let the welded pipe and fitting cool at ambient temperature (never plunge into water to cool them). After welding, clean the matrix thoroughly.
